Three Named as Finalists for Young Sports Personality Prize

England footballer Michelle Agyemang, darts sensation Luke Littler and cricketer Davina Perrin have been selected as contenders for the this year's Young Sports Personality of the Year award.
The three finalists have been honoured for their remarkable achievements over the previous year.
Agyemang was instrumental as the Lionesses claim victory in Euro 2025, Littler won the world title for the first time, and Perrin rose to fame with a historic innings.
Littler won the award in 2024 after his breakthrough year.
The shortlisted athletes were unveiled on a widely-listened-to radio show.
The 2025 recipient will be announced during a live broadcast on the prestigious sports ceremony show on Thursday, 18 December.
The ceremony will be televised from 7 PM GMT.
Agyemang's Profile

Only 90 days after her international debut, Agyemang played a pivotal and thrilling role in England's run to Euro 2025 glory.
She entered the fray to score key tying goals in both the last eight and last four matches.
Her incredible contributions led to her being named Young Player of the Tournament.
Afterwards, she was awarded the Golden Girl trophy for the top young European talent.
She was also nominated for the Kopa Trophy for the planet's top young female footballer.
Agyemang, who has been at Brighton in a temporary move from Arsenal, ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament in October.
"Being nominated for this honour is incredible," said Agyemang. "I'm grateful to God and I'm grateful for the support I've received from my loved ones, mentors, colleagues and supporters."
The Darts Prodigy

The year started for Littler in spectacular fashion as - aged 17 - he became the earliest-ever winner in history.
He secured a commanding win over Michael van Gerwen in the final.
His later win at the World Matchplay made him only the fifth competitor to complete the prestigious PDC Triple Crown.
And he wasn't finished there - his victory at November's Grand Slam of Darts meant he ascended to world number one for the maiden occasion.
At 18, he is the youngest man to do so, smashing the previous record.
"Being nominated for Young Sports Personality of the Year is a huge privilege," stated Littler. "Last year's win was a proud moment for me and I've had another incredible 12 months. I want to continue elevating darts."
Perrin's Profile
Age: 19 Sport: Cricket
Perrin is one of English cricket's brightest emerging stars and rose to fame with an remarkable and historic innings in August.
Her sublime 42-ball century in The Hundred is the fastest by an English woman in T20s.
It also stands as the equal third-quickest women's T20 century in a major league or full member T20 international.
Perrin finished second in the season's run tally and was named the Professional Cricketers' Association's top young women's player.
"I'm incredibly grateful to be shortlisted for the Young Sports Star award," expressed Perrin. "It means a great deal. I hope it encourages more young females to get into cricket."
