Both Deceased Students Revealed in the Ivy League School Shooting as Law Enforcement Continue Hunt for Perpetrator.

Both young individuals who were killed in the recent violent attack on the university campus were honored at the start of the week – as a manhunt for their shooter carried on following the discharge by authorities in Rhode Island of the single suspect detained in connection in the case.

Honoring a Lost Student

Umurzokov’s identity was verified by the foreign office of Uzbekistan.

“He was incredibly kind, funny, and smart. He harbored grand aspirations of pursuing a career in neurosurgery and helping people,” his sibling Samira said in a memorial statement.

The Shooting Incident

Nine other people were injured in the weekend shooting in the school of engineering of Brown’s campus in Providence, during the school’s final exam period.

Law enforcement reported by the end of Sunday that a man aged 24 arrested in a search at a Hampton Inn about around 27 kilometers from the university earlier in the day was released from custody.

“A perpetrator remains free,” declared Peter Neronha, Peter Neronha.

He continued, “Investigations can lead one way, and then you must reassess and go in another, and this is precisely what occurred over the last 24 hours or so.”
